Tsunamis and how you can effectively stop them

A new method that can be used to stop Tsunamis and prevent the colossal loss of life and property.

Tsunamis arise after a shift of a big layer of water caused by

n underwater earthquake or a big landslide.

At the same time the concentrated energy (not the  layer of water) begins to move.

This process can be modeled on a long spring ,located horizontally.

If you strike on one side of the spring, then it will be visually possible to see the wave running on it, and when it reaches the end of the spring it will considerably extend its end.

The same process happens also to the tsunamis. Moving from the impulse source, the clot of energy is transferred from one layer of water to another.

When it approaches the coast, the last sheet of water, without having resistance, begins to rise up, copying the coast profile.

Already moving to the coast, the last layer of water loaded with energy creates behind itself a vacuum, In the zone of which coastal water begins to pull up along the bottom.

At the same time a powerful outflow is observed, and the coast becomes exposed to a great distance.

The energy of a wind-induced wave is defined by the wave sizes (length and height) as in tsunamis as well, only that the length of a wind-induced wave is meters while in tsunamis it’s – kilometers.

To fight against a normal wave it is enough to establish a breakwater near the coast at an angle of 60 degrees. The wave, after reaching it and rising up, will collapse and will lose it’s energy. With tsunamis such a trick will not pass because of its length.

It will creep through the breakwater as a snake, without losing its energy.

For tsunami taming, it is necessary to dig a trench of a certain profile, at the same time to use sand dredges at a sandy bottom, and at the stony bottom use – more powerful dredges.

Not far from the coast, these machines have to execute the following profile on the soil. Let’s assume that the coast rises at an angle of 30 degrees to the horizon.

On some distance from the coast, the rising part of the coast in water should begin to be lowered at an angle of 30 degrees to the horizon, but in the opposite direction, and then sharply risen.

The corner between decrease and increase has to make 90 degrees.

What will occur in this case?

The in going wave of the tsunami, copying the rising coast, will begin to rise above sea level and suddenly will sharply dive down, following the bottom profile made by the machines. Before it there will be the wall, vertical to it.

Leaning in to this wall, the tsunami will transfer all of it’s energy to the ground. The coast will get only  the remains of this energy.

Today in the world there are powerful and very productive dredges of many kinds.

It is with these machines they built the “Palm Islands “in Abu Dhabi.

With ease they will process coasts in front of human settlements and by that preventing the death of people and also big material losses.

The profile of such a coast will need to be checked periodically and supported or fixed by means of concrete plates.

Let’s remember the

225 thousand dead from the tsunami in Indonesia, and its vicinity.(see Link )

30 thousand dead from the tsunami in Japan recently. (see Link )

And the costs of construction of the protective profile will seem scanty.
